Parents' work schedules rarely coincide with school hours, so the YWCA of the Hartford Region offers YW Kidslink, open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade, before and after school, five days a week.
Your child will enjoy an environment rich with activities that tap into their creativity and foster healthy physical, social, mental and emotional development. Girls and boys actively participate in sports, group games, creative free time, arts and crafts, music, dramatic play, indoor and outdoor games, story time...the sky's the limit. Our professional, well-trained staff also helps with homework, which frees up more family time in the evening.
YW Kidslink is located right at your child's school, eliminating the need for pick-up and drop-off. The program is available at the following 13 schools in these communities:
- Bolton: Bolton Municipal Building
- Manchester: Bowers, Buckley, Keeney, Martin, Waddell
- Rocky Hill: Stevens, West Hill
- West Hartford: Bugbee, Duffy, Webster Hill, Wolcott
- Wethersfield: Charles Wright
Most importantly, you can rest assured that your child is in good hands. Every YWCA program is continuously monitored to ensure health and safety standards are maintained. Our programs are state-licensed and adhere to strict state guidelines and regulations. Parents are also encouraged to visit their child's program at any time, and YWCA teachers are always available to discuss a student's progress.
We invite you to visit our facilities and meet our staff. Please call to schedule an appointment.
